Pain Industry

Holidays have started and already it has been eventful. Last Wed was spent in school with Sports Coaching people doing video analysis again. Only thing that I’ve learnt was from Dan, that ‘real man eats baked beans and egg yolks’ upon noticing that I did not eat any of those two from my lunch. Thursday: spent it with baby at her house slacking while she prepared for her final paper on Friday. Friday: met baby after her paper for ‘interview’ at Funan for a job at the upcoming IT Fair. Interview consisted of filling in a form and getting to know the date for the training. Saturday: family outing with baby, bro and his girlfriend, aunt and mum. Watched District 9 which is pretty nice despite what I read from Wiki. Morale of the story: the internet can’t be trusted. And I finally went back to East Coast Hut on Sunday with baby. Wanted to spend a day on the beach only to be disappointed by the weather. Still, we had our Koi Bubble Teas and had a great time slacking and joking in the hut itself. Met her parents and other family members for dinner at Jumbo where the food was excellent and probably one of the only few places around where they can sell you tofu for 20 bucks.

Today: Cage soccer with Xianwen and his friends, with Saddam joining us too. Had a really great time although the place looked a little run-down from the outside. Not so great was the part where I suffered an ankle sprain due to a rogue ball dammit. Now I might be facing a ban from soccer for a month from baby and that is if this stupid pain can go away. Had a similar injury but it didn’t seem to hurt that much. Ate Jalan Sultan prawn noodles after that and 80-ed home. Met bro and girlfriend on our way home and decided to follow them a while as they were meeting aunt Kyris. Ate a Lamb Chops set at Jack’s Place just 2 hours after the prawn mee. God I’m getting fatter. Not sure why I keep having hunger pangs recently. Could it be puberty happening all over again ): Baby came over to my house after that where we enjoyed a good resting time together. Helped me rubbed my swollen ankle with loads of love and care too! Thanks baby <3

So now I’m still lying on bed and not being able to move much. It really sucks, especially since it’s the holidays. And I have work this Friday dammit. Good luck tomorrow when I visit the Chinese physician. May God take away my sense of pain for the few hours that I’m there amen.

Sunny Day

Been to so many places and did so much stuffs in the past few weeks. Firstly, nationals. Think I did fine, maintaining the same timings and yet disappointed with one or two things though. But RP did really well overall considering that we were without sepaks too. So good job people :D

Met baby after that for some great dinner. She couldn’t go down with me because of her sailing course ): And she got so many bruises just through that two days ): Poor thing.

Celebrated Zhiyuan’s birthday next on 7th of August with everyone involved at Novena. Food was great and so was the entertainment :D:D It was a real egg-y/prawn-y experience for those who were there ha. Met people from W45B the next day to get present for the birthday boy Rezal. The route to his house was quite confusing but we got there in the end. Haven met with some of them for a long while and we had some great fun joking around.  A special boo to Anees, who ps-ed us in the end ): Went to meet baby at Tampines next after her sailing test (which she passed and the coach said she had the potential to be a sailor) for dinner at the Olive Oil Chicken restaurant. Wanted to catch G.I. Joe but tickets were already out by that time. Probably a good thing as baby was starting to feel sick.

Zoo the next day with family and baby. Been a long long while since I’ve been to the Zoo. Really interesting and it was funny seeing uncle Stanley getting all excited acting as a tour guide and moving around fast to see the animals. Heard from aunt Kyris that he wanted to be a zookeeper when he was much younger ha. Had a break at Ben and Jerry’s before heading home for a quick shower. Steamboat dinner at uncle’s house next while watching the fireworks on the TV.

Watched Where Got Ghost at Ang Mo Kio at 1220am with family. It was pretty hilarious to be honest, instead of it being scary ha. Had a good time sleeping later on due to some reasons (:

Japanese buffet this morning/noon at some hotel that I can’t remember the name now. Salmon skin hand roll was godlike, so was the other stuffs served there. Gotta go there again. Went to West Coast Plaza next for the Nike sale. The shopping center would probably be deserted without that sale. Queuing up was such a bad experience that I only managed to survive it was because of baby (: Thanks love :D

Might be gym-ing with baby and aunt + uncle tomorrow after school. Another fun family outing eh :D Can’t wait. But baby gotta take care too cause she’s getting sick ): Which is why it’s a good thing that the holidays are coming so I can take care of her :D:D
